Happy Summer! Get ready for our next #GlugNYC event "WOMEN DISRUPTERS!" 

Join us in Tribeca at the very cool, LED Lab, on Wednesday, September 14th when Two Goats host an overwhelmingly talented and super smart lineup of creative woman in Fashion Technology, Liifestyle TV and Performance Art who have disrupted their way to success and will be ready on the night, to share personal insight.

The stellar line up include, former Masterchef USA contestent, Lifestyle Personality and Founder of cooking brand, LA LATINA, Chef Grace Ramirez, Founder of Wearabale Experiments and recently coined by Business Insider as the next Elon Musk, Billie Whitehouse and Director of the Creative Lab at Cirque Du Soleil Media, Gillian Ferrabee. Each take the stage for 15mins followed by a Q&A, moderated by special guest, CEO & Founder of Media Disrupters, Johanna Salazar.

As usual, we have Live Art Walls, Two Goats latest VR Experinces (including the latest HTC VIVE) plus DJ Misbehaviour spinning vinyl and needless to say, an extensive OPEN BAR!

Billie Whitehouse - CEO Wearable Experiments

Billie Whitehouse is the designer and director of Wearable ExperimentsWearable Experiments specializes in the combination of hardware, software and apparel for wearable technology products. Forbes recently compared Billie and her co-founder Ben Moir to Steve Jobs and Jerry Seinfeld. Known for her development of Nadi and Fan Jersey recently presented at Super Bowl 50, Billie is invigorating the fashion industry and transforming it into a business focused on improving the quality of our lives.          

As a garment engineer, Billie strongly believes people should not have to look like the technology that they have grown to love and depend on. Business Insider recently named Billie as one of the 30 most important women under 30 in tech and she was named in the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company. The highlight for Billie in 2016 was winning The Wearable Award in Paris at Show Room Privé as well as being featured on the Jimmy Fallon Show. Gillian Ferrabee - Director, Creative Lab at Cirque du Soleil Media

Gillian’s fascination with innovation in storytelling goes way back. She wrote and directed her first play at the age of 10. It was a remake of Snow White where Snow White and her team of dwarfs rock the forest, and then Snow White chooses her own prince, or princess, from the audience to marry sometime in the future. Gillian’s first professional career was as a contemporary dancer. She toured Europe, North America and Mexico for a decade with the companies, O Vertigo Dance and Carbone 14 Dance Theatre. She began acting in film and TV in 1994, and eventually branched out into teaching, coaching and screenwriting.

In 2004, She joined Cirque du Soleil’s casting team as a full-time artistic scout and travelled the world auditioning unique and exceptional talent, and scouting new trends in live performance and design. She was on the team that cast The BEATLES’ LOVE show in 2006, as well as many other shows in the company’s repertoire. In 2012, she was named Director of the Creative Lab at Cirque Du Soleil Media, where she now leads a team in developing projects for TV, film and new media. Their most recent projects include the 2016 Emmy award-winning VR project INSIDE THE BOX OF KURIOS, co-produced with Felix & Paul Studios; and the pre-school animated series LUNA PETUNIA, created in partnership with Saban Brands, which will premiere on Netflix in December 2016.
